Hunting is a big part of
many people's tradition, and it is a big part of the tradition
at Pine Acres Resort too. We have many lodging options available
at great rates, all of the land you could hunt in a lifetime,
and the comforts and comaradarie that the lodge and other facilities
offer.
For the bow and gun hunting
enthusiasts, there are weeks of good hunting with thousands of
acres of prime public hunting land. Small game and large game
abound.
Woodsmanship, hunting skills,
ethics and sportsmanship are passed down from one generation
to the next in a shared outdoor experience that is second to
none. Teaching a young adult the ways of the hunter has been
strenthening people and families for generations.
Marinette County has over
100,000 acres of forest land, and the Nicolet National Forest
is just a few miles down the road with hundreds of thousands
more acres of wild lands. If you like the solitude of not being
by other hunters, there is no problem finding a remote spot.
The hunting is good here, and a reasonable effort should yield
a nice buck, bear, turkey, grouse, partridge, rabbit, and the
many other species of game available.
