The High Falls Reservoir is a 1,700 acre
super clean, tannin-stained body of water surrounded by 20 miles
of undeveloped shoreline. It reminds one of Canada with it's
granite outcroppings, forested shoreline, bald eagles and big
fish.
In 2001, the State of Wisconsin purchased
over 10,000 acres of land surrounding HIgh Falls and Caldron
Falls Reservoirs and created the Peshtigo River State Forest,
insuring that the lands surrounding these two bodies of water
will remain undeveloped for the foreseeable future.
We are now offering cruises on High Falls
Reservoir so that you and your group can enjoy the wild beauty
of this spectacular body of water.
Starting and ending at the Pine Acres Resort
Marina, cruises are guided by an experienced captain at the helm
so you will be able to sit back, relax, and enjoy good times
with family, friends and associates. We can accommodate groups
up to 12 adults.
Morning, afternoon and evening cruises
are available and food and beverages are available through Pine
Acres Resort. Tours can include stops along the way for swimming
and hiking opportunities.
Cruises last four to six hours and the
cost is $350 which includes your captain and gas. All Wisconsin
inland water boat safety regulations apply.
